The National Federation of Tourist Restaurants (FNRT) was created to represent and support classified tourist restaurants, while promoting local gastronomy. Founded with the aim to guarantee a quality culinary experience for visitors, it has become an influential organization over the years, working closely with tourism authorities and institutions to strengthen the tourist restaurant industry. By showcasing local cuisine and offering quality service, tourist restaurants play a very important role in attracting visitors and enriching the tourist experience.
The FNRT is dedicated to several key missions. It studies economic, social, technical, financial and legal issues to promote the restaurant business in Morocco. It informs public authorities of the results of its studies, and takes action to promote the development of the catering industry as a component of tourism. Defending the interests of its members, the FNRT strives to ensure the prestige of the profession and contributes to its harmonious development. It organizes awareness-raising campaigns and represents the profession before national and international bodies, while maintaining strict political and religious neutrality.
